A Self-Mixing Microvibration Measurement System of a <i>π</i>-Phase Shifted DFB Fiber Laser

Recently, with the rapid development of precision machining, microvibration measurement is required for manufacturing and installation parts components. In this paper, a self-mixing system π-phase shifted Distributed feedback (DFB) fiber laser introduced. An all-fiberized configuration Er3+-Yb3+ co-doped DFB was used as light source, in which an active Bragg grating (FBG) wrote on fiber. Using this, it can easily get single-mode lasing narrow linewidth. Experimental results demonstrate that amplitude vibration be achieved down to λ/5 without any modulation while utilizing reflecting mirror. It good agreement theoretical analysis very helpful proving sensitivity stability system. addition, remote distance 20 km also realized
